Joining with your email

• Use your own email address, one membership per person. Do not sign up other people.
• Keep your password and sign-in links to yourself. You are responsible for what is done from your account.
• We may remove a membership that is used to abuse the site, such as mass sign-ups, fake addresses or creating accounts to rate the same film more than once.
• Joining includes agreeing to receive updates from us about films and offers from film makers. You can stop them, or delete your email, at any time from the link in any of our emails. See the Privacy page for what we keep.

Rating fairly

• Rate only films you have watched, once per film, and give your own honest score.
• Do not use scripts, multiple devices, VPNs or any other way to rate more than once or to push a score up or down.
• We may hold back or remove ratings that look automated, repeated or paid for.

What the ratings mean

Ratings show what people who chose to rate on this site said. They are not a survey of all viewers, and we make no promise that they predict a film's quality or its box-office result.

Other sites and links

Links to BookMyShow, District or other sites go to services we do not run. Their content and terms are theirs. Names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to say where a score or ticket link comes from.

Using our data

You can quote our charts and numbers with a link back to RateItDude. Please do not copy the site wholesale or scrape it. If you want data for reports, write to us.

No guarantees

We do our best to keep the site running and the numbers correct, but it is provided as it is, without warranties. We are not liable for losses from using the site, to the extent the law allows.
